Playstation 3s sitting on a shelf at Wal-mart

Lately on Digg and elsewhere there has been discussion of the Playstation 3's availability, especially in comparison to the Wii. At about 6pm today on December 23rd I was at Wal-mart and overheard a man on a cellphone convincing someone it was time to give up on trying to find a Wii. Meanwhile I saw two Playstation 3s sitting on the shelf:

very true fact .. nintendo makes more money on any sale .. no lemme rephrase that .. nintendo MAKES money on every sage. So they don't need 120 mil (of wich most of them were doubles or defects, collegue of mine admitted he had owned 4 different PS2's. 3 of them broke and sony refused to fix 2 of them. so basically he got 5 in total.) I picked up my Wii 1 day before launch. it just quite simply rocks pants! have had a 360 for 9 months now .. also rocks. i can't even buy a PS3 here in the EU if i wanted to ... so fuck you sony!
