You can change the color by clicking the right button of your mouse. You can pick 1 of 7 colors. Sorry if you didn't understand me but I am from Central America. I speak spanish and a few of english.

Okay, how do you get it to change to the colored stripes? Or can you?
KOOKIE   Reply
I think you can't change the color you wanted better go to the Go Go Redball webpage.
Paola Ortega   Reply
its great! it took me a while to figure out how to change color. you press control not option. fun fun!
andrew   Reply
Ha! Good catch, now fixed.

This is great! Totally different & fun. There must be a way to bring it to the desktop using developer mode, yes? I keep all my favorite widgets on the desktop... this would be awesome to have a couple of these balls laying around to throw about. Email me or leave the secret here. Cheers, Leland
Leland   Reply
Wouldn't it be cool if the ball would roll around the bottom of the screen if your portable mac has those motion sensors?
Nicholas Lederer   Reply
Well, on the chance - the very unlikely chance - that I win a new macbook in the Apple Design Awards I'll add this feature.

Love, love, love the ball. Any way of getting a "bouncy" sound? andy
Andrew   Reply
It only works on a single monitor setup, i have 2 20" cinema displays and it wont go to both.....still very fun!
Bret   Reply
to get it to work on the desktop (if developer mode in enabled), instead of adding it to the dashboard by clicking and draging it into the dashboard like any other widget, click and drag it, and while still holding it (before initial drop into dashboard) press F12, then it will drop onto your desktop. and simply grab the ball, and press F12 again to get it back to the dashboard, to repeat, you must start over. Once it is on the dashboard, it cannot be moved (to the desktop), it must be put on desktop before it is droped onto dashbard. VERY COOL WIDGET!!!

What is developer mode?
Niki   Reply
It's a wholely unsupported mode for widgets some users are intent on using. I should just delete these comments because they confuse people.
Nate   Reply
On my intel imac it works just fine to put on desktop. and I haven't modified dashboard at all. so I don't think its in developer mode.

Small bug-the reflection is always "RED" no matter what color ball you choose! Suggestions for next version: (1) a ball the color of the old apple logo (like you have on apple.com) (2) built-in instructions Great work though! Keep it up, you legend.
Brendan   Reply
I've got 7 balls on my dashboard, all 7 colors, and the reflections do show the color of the ball.
Tabatha   Reply
i updated to Mac OS X Version 10.4.7 and now the red ball won't work. it gets stuck and freezes, i even trashed it and downloaded it again... urg... what will i do w/o it?... have you had problems with this?

Something has changed in WebKit, I'm looking into it and will post a fixed version soon.

This widget rocks the house! I sent a comment before, I still think sound effects would be heaps good and really add to it. I also suhhested that ,if possible you could replace the ball with a picture ( for if you get a bit sick of someone). This is definitely the best widget I have Hamish
Hamish   Reply
if you know how to you can. you have to look at the files within the widget and replace the already existing photos.

I love this; but everytime i restart the dashboard (or the computer) the color goes back to red (default).

I LOVE the widget! Its so fun. Was thinking, though, it might be fun if you could change the gravity effecting the ball. Having one bouncing around faster than I can see would be way fun! Thanks again, its a great toy! :)
Ev   Reply
It would be awesome if you could make the balls hit each other... GREAT WIDGET!

Great widget, between this widget and your other one, I can no longer get anything done on my computer. It's all your fault. :-(
Bryan   Reply
How do you get multiple balls on your screen? I can only see the one.
fooch   Reply
You need to press the dashboard and press the ball if you press twice there will be two more.
Ophelia Chan   Reply
ey, great cool widget! just a suggestion, maybe in the forthcoming versions, you can add an option for scoring how many bounces the ball makes, sort of like a measurement how 'strong' you 'threw' the ball. just a thought. :)
Jude   Reply
pretty fun. how do you do stripes?

Well, I now have 5 stationary and impossible to remove red circles on my Leopard Dashboard. I hope you get this widget up and running soon on Leopard or at least tell us how to kill it because it no longer shows up in Activity Monitor.

I got leopard, and now go go red ball doesn't work!! are you going to release a new one for leopard?

This Go go red ball is so cool. You guys should put more things into it so we can change the ball color.

When can we expect an update to make it functional in Leopard?
Brett   Reply
i downloaded it but its not working it appears on the dashboard and it wont move, and theres a shadow of it that hovers around the ball. i have a leopard macbook, which is probably the problem, but is there anyway i can get rid of it? please reply
Hannah   Reply
heres sumthing u can make to make it more fun, in the corner or sumwhere on dashboard have a lil counter that like says speed or stuff like htat so u can take stress out by tryin to hit faster speed and stuf Another idea is so that the ball isnt jus in dashboard, if i was just there all the time without dashboard open it would be soo cool, then u can add extras like it bounces off edges or logos and develop that! :)
