Hey - I'm having trouble getting the image to clear except at start up. I've tried everything but shaking the computer. Any hints?

You have to shake the widget - grab the red edge and shake the mouse - you might want to really let loose. It is possible that the shaking threshold is too high for you - if you find you simply can't shake it hard enough for the image to disappear please contact me here.

Great widget, if its possible, can you use the same method as the carpenters level so if i shake my powerbook, the etcha sketch will clear. http://pallit.lhi.is/palli/dashlevel/

This widget is brilliant, sir. However, after I shake it, I have to hit the info button before I can draw on it. Funny, I always flipped over the real Etch-A-Sketches too.

I love it! My suggestion is to make the drawing a bit imperfect. For example, I would like to see the widget occasionally miss a spot when I'm drawing a line.

I have so much fun with this..... its a perfect time-waster. I'm a bit afraid sometimes that the shaking is going to wreak the computer, but no problems yet. =] Make more widgets!

dude this is so cool... I draw sketches whilst I'm waiting for compiles. I wish I could keep them and show you them all. Please add a gallery and the ability to share the images online direct from the widget, sort of flickr for etch a sketch

An alternative and quicker way to erase the picture is Command-R. This reloads the Widget you last clicked on.

Is there a way to use keys for drawing? Like the original two knobs, for example the arrow keys... And use two arrows to go diagonal! Would be even more realistic!!!

Awsome widget, I think that you should add some doodle sharing. You can make the images upload to a site and when you click the star, instead of a preset image being imprinted, someone else's image from online is printed.

i real like your widget, the ball is quite fun too, but i can't clear the image on this one... i have an old ibook with the newest os. it might be the old, small T_T touch pad...

I cant get it to draw on the widget. how do you draw your own pictures?? its not letting me! is there some button you have to press?? i pressed the star and it did premade drawings but how do you draw your own?? :(

i found your sketcher!!! i find just great the slight fact that the specularity on the screen and frame changes depending on the position the widget is place. VERY natural.

mine doesn't work i click on the star and nothing happens, i draw over the board and nothing happens i click the "i" thing and then i can't go back to the board. I need help and suggestions please.

I also can't get this thing to draw. I click on the star and nothing, I draw with my mouse or the arrows and again nothing. I hit the info button and I got stuck until I figured out the apple R would put it back to face up but that is as far as I have gotten. I need some instructions please.

How do I delete this- it does not work. I clicked on the i in the lower corner to get some info and it refuses to turn back over so now it is useless :(

Yeah, I can't go back or get it to work either. It seems the Widget doesn't work with Leapard OSX ; ; If you are having trouble deleting it because you've clicked the i, just click the plus sign in the bottom left corner and delete it manually.
